10 Flyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Denis “Psycho” Bondar

28 | 5’6″ | Kharkiv, Ukraine | 14-2 | 100% Finish rate | 5 KO/TKOs, 9 Submissions’ (3 Armbars’, 3 Arm-triangles, 3 RNC’s) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 52-36-1 | Best Win – Kewin Jacques (7-1)

Fighting out of Ukraine, Denis (Denys) Bondar is an excellent 125lb’er on a current 13-fight win streak. He’s the current WWFC flyweight champion and recently won the Road to WWFC bantamweight title. Bondar isn’t the most known flyweight out there but his record looks really good. He’s someone the UFC may very well choose to pursue.

Bondar fights with a grappling-heavy attack and boasts nine submission wins. He’s not as dangerous on the feet but does strike well to close the distance to get the fight down. Once on top he is very dominant with positional grappling and flows on top winning the scrambles. He’s diverse with his submissions winning with an RNC, arm-triangle and an armbar. His gas tank may be an issue due to him exerting so much energy early on with his wrestling but so far so good.
