10 Flyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Tony Laramie

21 | 5’2″ | Windsor, Ontario | 5-2 | 3 Finished | 3 KO/TKOs | Combined Opponents’ Record: 29-17 | Best Win – Keith Lee (0-0)

From the start Laramie didn’t cut any corners. His pro debut was against Keith Lee, the brother of UFC’s Kevin Lee. Keith today is signed with Bellator and has made a name for himself, and Laramie cruised to a decision victory against him. He did suffer two consecutive losses but those were to two good fighters. Laramie is now on a three-fight win streak. Even though he hasn’t fought great competition lately he’s fighting opponents with a lot of experience. Tony is also the younger brother of UFC fighter TJ Laramie.

Laramie is a super impressive young athlete that’s still a student of the sport. His game plan is to smash through his opponents with output and forward pressure. He’s well versed in throwing slick combinations going to the body and head. He has heavy leg kicks and will stay in your face putting the offense on you. On the feet Laramie will beat up your body, damage your legs, and try to take your head off. Just like his brother, Tony is a solid wrestler. I’d like to see him use it more as that along with his grappling, which he does very well. If he doesn’t get signed this year he will in future.
