10 Bantamweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Danny “The Italian Gangster” Sabatello

27 | 5’10″ | Sunrise, Florida, US | 9-1 | 7 Finishes | 3 KO/TKOs, 4 Submissions’ (3 RNC’s, Arm-triangle) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 34-40-1 | Best Win – Taylor Moore (10-4)

Titan FC bantamweight champion Danny Sabatello (9-1) just recently fought on the Contender Series, but although he had a dominant performance, he was denied a UFC contract. Many believe he should have been granted a UFC deal that night including myself, but UFC President Dana White disagreed.

Sabatello, with an impressive 9-1 record in MMA, made his name in wrestling. He’s a three-time NCAA Championships qualifier and a two-time 141-pound Big Ten Championship winner. He’s an insanely good wrestler with frantic forward pressure, and he has a high pace he puts on until the finish or a decision. He will be a huge problem for a lot of guys in the UFC.
