10 Bantamweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Jonas “The Shark” Magard

28 | 5’8″ | Copenhagen, Denmark | 12-4 | 7 Finishes | 1 KO/TKO, 6 Submissions’ (5 Japanese Neckties’, RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 52-63 | Best Win – Liam Gittins (5-0)

Magard at one point in his career was 1-3 but now has an impressive record. In the last five years, he’s only lost to a good fighter in Mike Ekundayo. Now he’s on a four-fight win streak. Just in his last fight, he won the FEN vacant bantamweight title — a promotion out of Poland.

Magard is a fantastic wrestler with high-level grappling and heavy top control. He’s very dominant with his wrestling and ground game and has the gas tank in his possession. Magard is a submission ace who has finished not once but five times with a rare Japanese Necktie. He had a big 2020 and in 2021 he should have an even better year.
