10 Heavyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2021

Askar Mozharov

26 | 6’2″ | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | 23-6 | 20 Finishes | 14 KO/TKOs, 6 Submissions (3 Armbars’, RNC, Guillotine, Triangle) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 89-71 | Best Win – Cheick Kone (17-9)

Mozharov, if not the hammer, has been the nail and already has six losses. When comparing those six losses to his twenty-three wins, however, you shouldn’t really pay too much attention to the former. Watching this Ukrainian fighting out of Malaysia, he’s very exciting with all action and no stalling. He came into 2020 with a loss but ended the year with three consecutive wins.

Of twenty-three wins, Mozharov has twenty finishes and all come in the first round. Everything that “No Mercy” throws is with fight-ending intentions. He has cracking power in his hands and in his kicks the speed and power are substantial. He’s also fought at middleweight and light heavyweight, which gives him a lot of options, and upside.
