10 Light Heavyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2020

Emillio “The Jet” Trevino

24 | 6’2″ | Boise, Idaho | 5-0 | 3 Finishes | 2 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission (RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 24-16 | Best Win – Carl Dieckmann (11-3)

Emillio Trevino is still a bit unknown due to him only fighting pro for three years, and his lack of a busy schedule. Without much experience he’s still fought for both LFA and even Bellator MMA. Trevino fights out of a karate stance, and is a fighter who fights behind his kicks. He actively switches stances and throws from different angles as well.

“The Jet” has excellent timing and accuracy on what he throws. He has a jet (pun intended) of a straight left he throws but also a very well-executed one-two he attacks with. Trevino is still green but has the talent to be something in the future. Something like the Contender Series next Summer makes sense, and a fall debut in the UFC should he win.
