10 Light Heavyweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2020

Tafon “Da Don” Nchukwi

25 | 6’0″ | Cameroon | 3-0 | 3 Finishes | 3 KO/TKOs | Combined Opponents’ Record: 9-3 | Best Win – William Knight (6-0)

Tafon Nchukwi made waves in the MMA community when he beat UFC development deal holder William Knight last November. Knight was highly-touted, and Nchukwi finished him via strikes in round one. He’s only 3-0 but went 3-0 as an amateur and has a good team behind him at Team Lloyd Irvin.

Nchukwi prefers to keep the fight standing and he’s been able to do so with solid takedown defense. He has a lot of power in his hands and kicks but it’s his Muay Thai that stands out. Inside the clinch, Nchukwi is excellent at landing from a short distance and not only with a lot of power but good technique as well.
