Conor McGregor is in the news for another fight, and once again, it’s not the type that comes in a ring or cage.

McGregor, who is due to turn 37 next month, was seen on video obtained by U.K. outlet The Sun knocking out a clubgoer at the Pacha nightclub in Ibiza on Tuesday morning.

The pair appear to exchange words prior to the altercation.

The injured man was reportedly removed from the club. McGregor, however, was allowed to remain.

The video labels McGregor an “ex-UFC star” — not entirely untrue. While still signed by the company, the former lightweight and featherweight champ has not competed since breaking his leg in a trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in 2021.

McGregor’s return against Michael Chandler had been announced for UFC 303 last year, only for a broken toe to force him out of the bout.

Ireland’s McGregor has been no stranger to controversy over the years. He was found liable in a civil suit for sexual assault last year, and in 2019 was caught on video punching a bar patron who decline his offer of a shot of Proper 12 Whiskey, a brand McGregor was then part-owner of.

When, or if, Conor McGregor fights again (inside the octagon that is) remains to be seen.
