Logan Storley “Will Do What I Do Best” At PFL Nashville

Nashville, TN — In recent weeks, the Professional Fighters League has made some fan-friendly moves, including the launch of the PFL App, where western fans can watch international events for free, a pledge to leave Universal Studios and have all shows at road venues, and the announcement of affordable ticket prices.

The resulting surge in good will has things looking a little sunnier in PFL land ahead of the World Tournament Semifinals, the first stop of which is PFL Nashville this Thursday.

“I’m excited for PFL’s future. We’ve got a great roster, great people leading this company, and we put on exciting fights, right? So I think it’s going to continue to grow, and continue to get better and better,” welterweight Logan Storley (17-3) said of the recent changes during Tuesday’s PFL Nashville media day. “So for us as fighters, that’s what we want to do, is put on exciting fights and show the world that the PFL has some of the best fighters as well.”

Storley could find himself on a collision course with Kill Cliff FC teammate and fellow Bellator alum Jason Jackson should both come away victorious on Thursday. Of course, there are other things on “Storm’s” mind at the moment.

“Biggest thing for me is, I’ve got a weight cut ahead of me, and I’ve got 15 minutes against a very, very good opponent,” stated Storley. “And so that’s all I’m worried about, is semifinals, Thursday night. For me, that’s where my focus is at.”

That tough opponent is Masayuki Kikuiri, a Japanese Pancrase champ who also competed for Bellator MMA. Kikuiri enters PFL Nashville on a five-fight win streak.

“He’s well-rounded. He moves well, very technical, but I will get to my positions and do what I do best,” Storley replied when asked about his opponent. For his own part, Storley, a former Bellator interim champ, has won two straight, but almost certainly has the edge in quality of competition.
