Former PFL welterweight Logan Storley will no longer face criminal charges stemming from his May arrest in Florida on allegations of sexual assault.
Storley, 33, had the felony charges dismissed after successfully completing a pretrial diversion program. Such programs typically require participants to fulfill court-ordered conditions, which can include counseling, community service, or other rehabilitative measures. According to online court records, the agreement was officially entered into the record on July 24.
Storley’s attorney, Dave Martin, issued the following statement to the press:
“We are pleased that the criminal case involving Logan Storley has been resolved through a pretrial diversion program, after which the State has agreed to dismiss the charges.
We want to thank attorneys Jeff and Diego Weiner for their exceptional representation and most importantly, we want to thank everyone who refused to rush to judgment. The presumption of innocence remains a cornerstone of our criminal justice system, and every person deserves fairness, due process, and the opportunity to have their case decided based on the facts, not public opinion.
Logan is committed to becoming the best version of himself and looks forward to focusing on his family, his career, and the opportunities that lie ahead.”
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), Storley was accused of sexually battering a woman outside a strip club in Key West early Monday morning. The Key West Police Department report states that Storley met the woman at Bull & Whistle, a popular local bar, where he allegedly made advances toward her that she declined.
From there, groups accompanying Storley and the woman reportedly moved to a bar called Garden of Eden, which has a ‘clothing optional’ policy. According to the report, the woman attempted to leave the bar but was allegedly followed by Storley, who pressured her into performing oral sex on him. The woman told authorities she complied in hopes that he would leave her alone afterward.
The report further states that the woman alleged Storley turned her around, removed her skirt and underwear, and began having sex with her while she protested and repeatedly tried to get him to stop. According to the report, multiple witnesses approached the situation before Storley allegedly fled the scene. A nearby strip club manager reportedly detained him until law enforcement arrived.
According to police Storley smelled of alcohol and declined to speak with officers.
