Top 25 Pro MMA Prospects with Five Fights or Less

Payton Talbott
Pro record: 5-0
Amateur record: 5-0
Weight class: Bantamweight
Age: 24
Fighting out of Reno, Nevada, US

Talbott I’ve covered ever since he was an amateur. He’s made massive leaps in his career, especially in his last fight dismantling Cristhian Rivas. Talbott is a long striker who lets loose as the fight goes on. In the same sense, he’s really good in the clinch using his leverage and landing excellent knees. Decent wrestling is shown with a better top game including solid ground and pound. What makes him dangerous is his volume and his work rate having excellent cardio.

Ibragim Ibragimov
Pro record: 4-0
Amateur record: 7-0
Weight class: Lightweight
Age: 18
Fighting out of Manchester, England

Ibragimov was one of the hottest amateur prospects a few years ago. Today as a pro his stock has only gotten higher. Ibragimov is a tank from start to finish. He’s super aggressive with his kicks and pressure until he shoots. His wrestling has looked very good and his grappling seems high-level. Ibragimov is all over the positional grappling positions. His ground and pound and submission bast is dangerous. Ibragimov is a huge threat and someone I’m confident has a bright future.
