Legacy Fighting Alliance had its vacant women’s bantamweight championship on the line in the main event of Friday night’s LFA 157: Croden vs. Cavalcanti.

Taking place at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota, the event was set to see Canadian bantamweight prospect Melissa Croden, born in Toronto and fighting out of Calgary, Alberta, take on Portugal’s Jacqueline Cavalcanti.

Both fighters sported 4-1 records to start the night, and were looking to become just the second women’s bantamweight champion in LFA history. The first, Sarah Alpar, had vacated the title prior to defending it in 2019, signing with the UFC.

The championship had remained vacant ever since.

LFA 157 takes place on Friday, April 21, 2023 with the main card airing live on UFC Fight Pass starting at 9PM ET. Full results can be found below.
