UFC Edmonton arrives in October, headlined by welterweights Mike Malott and Joaquin Buckley.
The card, as expected, is now starting to shape up with the addition of a number of Canadian talents. Among them, middleweight Marc-Andre Barriault (17-11, 1NC), who is set to collide with Kyle Daukaus (17-5, 1NC), and Melissa Croden (8-3), who will face off in a bantamweight clash against Chelsea Chandler (7-4).
Also announced by the UFC on Monday, heavyweight Tanner Boser (22-11-1) will fight at home in Alberta, taking on Jhonata Diniz (9-2), and flyweight Jamey-Lyn Horth (9-3) will face Katlyn Cerminara (18-6).
Longtime UFC fans might better know Cerminara by the flyweight title challenger’s maiden name, Chookagian. She’ll be ending a roughly two and a half year layoff in the fight, having last competed in a losing effort against Maycee Barber in March of 2024.
Horth will enter the fight off a decision loss against JJ Aldrich at UFC Winnipeg in April. Boser made his return to the promotion on that same card, losing to Gokhan Saricam. Croden is also making her second Canadian stop in 2026, after beating Darya Zheleznyakova in Winnipeg.
Quebec’s “PowerBar,” Barriault, is just 1-5 in his last six fights and badly in need of a win. He gets Kyle Daukaus fresh off his White House loss against Bo Nickal.
UFC Edmonton takes place on October 17, 2026 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The following fights have been announced/reported for the event:
