Scouting the Globe 2022: The Five Best Prospects From The United States

Bantamweight, Austin Bashi (7-0)

Not even a year ago, I wouldn’t even consider Bashi a top prospect out of the US. Saying that, his last two fights changed that, as he beat Chris San Jose and Erion Zekthi, who are two really good regional guys.

Bashi is a young man at twenty years old. His wrestling is his bread and butter. He can put his wrestling on his opponents all fight long, going three rounds three times. He stays all over his opponents with fluid grappling and a strong base. The wrestling is top-notch and he has solid cardio.

Bashi is already so good now; he’s going to be great in the future. I’ll go on record to say this guy will be a ranked fighter no matter what big promotion he goes to.
