Bantamweight, Serhiy Sidey (7-1)
In the last year, 26-year-old Serhiy Sidey showed he is right there as one of the best up-and-coming Canadian prospects.
Sidey is the current BFL bantamweight champion, first winning the title back in September of last year. He defended his title twice in the span of five months. His only loss is to Mateo Vogel, who is a solid fighter as well. Sidey is well-rounded. He’s a good technical striker along with good muay thai and kickboxing. He’d defensively sound everywhere. Sidey has a strong ground game even off his back and good submission defense. He only holds one submission but is dangerous for sure.
