A pair of UFC featherweights will collide in July.

Sherdog was first to report the news that Billy Quarantillo will fight Bill Algeo on July 16 at a yet-to-be-announced UFC event. Quarantillo’s management would confirm the fight shortly after.

Quarantillo (16-4) makes his first appearance in 2022 after going 1-1 last year. In his last outing, he had absolutely incredible fight with Shane Burgos at UFC 268 last November, in which he would lose a unanimous decision. Prior to that, he finished Gabriel Benítez at UFC on ESPN: Makhachev vs. Moisés. After starting out 3-0 in the UFC, “Billy Q” has lost two of his last three and will be looking to rebound.

Algeo (15-6) spoiled Joanderson Brito’s UFC debut in January at UFC on ESPN: Kattar vs. Chikadze when he defeated him via unanimous decision. “Señor Perfecto” has alternated wins and losses in his first four UFC fights and will be looking to put together a streak.

  • Dustin Jacoby vs. Jung Da Un
  • Herbert Burns vs. Khusein Askhabov
