10 Welterweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Dilano “The Postman” Taylor

24 | 6’0″ | Dania Beach, Florida, US | 7-1 | 3 Finishes | 1 KO/TKO, 2 Submission ( Ezekiel Choke, RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 46-20 | Best Win – Carlos Matos (8-0)

A product out of Sanford MMA, Tayor is someone I have high praise for. His one sole loss as a pro was to Bellator’s Roman Faraldo, a big prospect in his own right, so there’s no shame in that. Taylor is the current Titan FC titleholder beating a talented, undefeated Carlos Matos when the title was vacant. He then defended it against veteran Marcus Edwards last month.

On the feet, Taylor fights long very well and the striking he has is really crisp. He’s a big strong welterweight slinging and powering guys down to the mat. Taylor has some solid ground and pound and a good ground game all around. He’s probably on the UFC’s shortlist and he should be.
