Welterweight Sean Brady didn’t get to fight at home at UFC 330 on Saturday, but he does have his next assignment locked in.
Brady (19-2), a Philadelphia native, will face Gabriel Bonfim (20-1) in the main event of the UFC’s November 7, 2026 Fight Night show at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas. The booking was officially announced during Saturday’s UFC 330 main card broadcast on Paramount+.
Many an eyebrow was raised at Brady’s absence from the hometown show. However, he gets a key assignment against Brazil’s Bonfim, with the pair ranked #5 and #6 in the weight class – though which spot each man holds differs based on whether you choose the media backed rankings, or the Meta AI rankings. Meta’s rankings has Brady ranked ahead of Bonfim, the media has the inverse situation appearing.
Brady last competed in May, winning a unanimous decision over Joaquin Buckley. That saw him bounce back from a loss to Michael Morales in November.
Bonfim is fresh off a victory against former UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad. His only setback in the UFC came by way of a TKO finish at the hands of Nicolas Dalby in 2023. Since then, Bonfim has won five straight fights. He has two Performance of the Night bonuses in that stretch.
No other fights have been announced for the UFC’s November 7 card to date.
