10 Middleweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Gamzat “The Predator” Khiramagomedov

28 | 6’0″ | Moscow, Russia | 10-1 | 7 Finishes | 5 KO/TKOs, 2 Submission’s (RNC, Guillotine) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 84-53 | Best Win – Alexey Butorin (12-2)

Khiramagomedov was one of the best middleweight prospects in 2019. Instead of signing with the UFC he inked a deal with the PFL with the chance of winning a million dollars. He was knocked off in his first fight losing to former UFC fighter Glaico França. Since that he’s got back on the board quietly with two big knockout wins.

The Russian hardly ever shoots for takedowns, and while he has success when he does so, his stand-up is far superior. Khiramagomedov does have a problem throwing single shots with not much volume. With that said, he does have laser accuracy and has a quick release. He does a great job at controlling range with an aggressive opponent moving backward landing beautiful counters. Khiramagomedov is very diverse and creative with his hands and legs while cutting slight angles perfectly. Someone that would be a steal if signed by the UFC.
