10 Middleweight Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2022

Vladimir Mineev

31 | 6’1″ | Vladimir, Russia | 16-1-1 | 14 Finishes | 11 KO/TKO, 3 Submissions (2 RNC’s, Guillotine) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 205-82 | Best Win – Maiquel Falcão (37-9)

Mineev has been a staple of Russia’s Fight Night Global promotion for a long time, fighting ten times for them.  He has several good wins, the most notable being against former UFC fighter Maiquel Falcão, who actually beat Mineev in an awful decision victory in the fight prior.

There have been doubts in the past about his cardio, takedown defense, and head movement, but he has grown into a well-rounded martial artist. The Russian has a dynamic offensive striking attack with excellent output with his hands and kicks, and his wrestling is underrated as well. Mineev is a must signing for the UFC and they won’t be let down if they do bring him in.
