The Professional Fighters League has announced the full card for August 13’s PFL Playoffs 1.
Joining the previously announced main event of Rory MacDonald vs. Ray Cooper III, as well as the other welterweight and lightweight semifinals, will be a number of familiar names. Among them, former two-time lightweight champion Natan Schulte, who missed the playoffs this year. Schulte will take on UFC veteran Olivier Aubin-Mercier.
PFL officials revealed the news in a press release on Tuesday.
Along with Schulte vs. Aubin-Mercier, Gleison Tibau, who upset MacDonald earlier this season, will also be in action. He’ll take on PFL regular Sadibou Sy.
Only one addition remains to be made to the August 13 card at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. That will be an opponent for Darrell Horcher, who is slotted in on the preliminary card against a fighter to be named later.
