Jack Della Maddalena
Welterweight | 24 | Perth, Western Australia | 9-2 | Win Streak: 9 | 8 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission
After starting off his career by losing his first two fights, Jack Della Maddalena is now on a nine-fight win streak. He is also the defending Eternal MMA welterweight champion. Della’s level of competition could be better, but all his wins have seen him defeat fighters with winning records. Of all the prospects out of Australia, Maddalena is towards the top as the best the country has to offer. He’s kept active even through the pandemic as well. He would certainly be deserving of a Contender Series opportunity.
Nikolay Veretennikov
Welterweight | 31 | Astana, Kazakhstan | 8-3 | Win Streak: 7 | 6 KO/TKOs
Originally from Kazakhstan, Veretennikov has been fighting in the US for the last six years. He just recently beat a solid prospect in Steve Jones under the LFA banner, in what I believe was an unofficial qualifying fight to get on the Contender Series. Veretennikov has good wins over tough regional guys like Austin Jones and Artenas Young. He also holds a win over current UFC fighter Charlie Ontiveros. I believe Veretennikov has competed in wrestling, boxing, and does have a background in Wushu Sambo. Look for him on the Contender Series when it returns for season five.
