Alexa Grasso (12-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC)

Strawweight (115lbs): 3-3 (UFC), Missed weight 2x

Flyweight (125lbs): 1-0 (UFC)

Alexa Grasso burst on the scene back in 2016 with an undefeated 8-0 record in the strawweight division. Grasso missed weight in just her third UFC fight coming in at 119lbs for her fight against Randa Markos in 2017. Grasso faced top competition while at strawweight, and her 5’5″ frame with a 66″ reach served her well until missing weight again early last year ahead of her fight with Claudia Gadelha. It was very unfortunate as Alexa was climbing up the ladder of the UFC’s 115lb division and was supposed to be on the big UFC 246 card headlined by McGregor vs. Cowboy. However, after coming in at 121.5lbs for the bout, the fight was cancelled and Grasso was forced to move up to flyweight thanks to just how badly she missed weight.

Thankfully, Grasso got back on the right track with her next fight against Ji Yeon Kim last August with a unanimous decision win, and although she used the full alotted grace pound, she looked great during the fight. Grasso is in another big time spot here as she faces Maycee Barber in the co-main event slot of UFC 258.
