Diego Ferreira is a long time staple of the UFC’s lightweight division. Ferreira first came to the UFC in 2014.
Though on paper he has had quite the career, a couple of losses in big-time spots as well as some health issues (failed drug test, kidney stones) have kept him from higher rankings. Ferreria has missed weight once in the UFC, back in 2019 ahead of his unanimous decision win over Rustam Khabilov. Ferreira’s last fight was a high profile win against Anthony Pettis a little over a year ago. Now 36 years old, Ferreira will run it back against one of the two men he’s lost to, Beneil Dariush at UFC Vegas 18.
