Manon Fiorot will be making her UFC debut at UFC Fight Island 8. Fiorot is a very highly regarded prospect out of France and competed in the EFC (Extreme Fighting Championships) as well as the UAE Warriors promotion. Fiorot also won a TUF inspired show, “The Fighter” in 2019, (under the EFC’s banner) showcasing her abilities.

Fiorot is 5’7″ and fights in the flyweight division, using her size to her advantage, as she is a striker. Fiorot has some very fast hands and stays dangerous late in the fight.  Two of her stoppages have come in the second round and another two of her stoppages have come late in the third round.

Manon has long striking combinations and often ends each of these combinations with a kick. Fiorot has shown strong takedown defense, as well as good top position control,  which are important attributes for a striker. Even with her karate background, Manon’s strikes have some real power and she definitely knows when and how to look for the finish.  Definitely an exciting signing for the UFC and fans should be on the lookout for her ‘short notice’ debut to open up the UFC Fight Island 8 card.
