ACA 114 Preliminary and Main Card Preview

Preliminary Bout Preview:

Adam Pałasz (5-1) vs. Oļegs Jemeļjanovs (10-2)

Pałasz will look to rebound after taking his first loss at ACA 109. Since the bout ended within a minute, fans were not able to properly judge Pałasz’s progress. Before that Pałasz had five finishes through five career fights. Now trying to get back on track, he will look to take out Jemeļjanovs who also carries a lot of power. Also an important note is the amount of experience Jemeļjanovs has over the Polish heavyweight prospect.

Kamil Oniszczuk (7-1) vs. Krystian Bielski (6-2)

Another young athlete looking to bounce back is Oniszczuk who recently came up short at ACA 109. However, since that loss, the Polish athlete learned a lot and fought a very seasoned opponent. Oniszczuk is a giant in the welterweight division, towering at 6’3. Standing in his way, the super dangerous Bielski. Bursting onto the Polish MMA scene, Bielski attracted attention after a quick 49 second KO against Seweryn Kirschhiebel. With eyes on him, the Grappling Mława product will try to reproduce the violence he showed off that same night.

Raul Tutarauli (25-5) vs. Plamen Bachvarov (9-2)

Tatarauli’s aggressive early starts have led him to victory several times. With at least eleven TKO/knockouts on his record, he is establishing himself as a Georgian legend. Facing the punching powerhouse, Bachvarov, who has been dominating the Bulgarian regional scene. While not as aggressive, Bachvarov is a blue chip prospect with solid fight IQ.

Michael Rirsch (9-2-1) vs. Łukasz Kopera (9-4)

Shown in his loss against Valid Abdurachmanov in 2018, Rirsch struggles on the ground. However, time has passed and he has picked up two solid decision wins on the Austrian circuit. Facing the Austrian, is the heavy handed Kopera. Despite Kopera coming up short a couple of times, he lost to solid competition. Overall Kopera packs the heavier punch, but Rirsch has been on the right end of many decisions, and that’s not by accident.

Attila Korkmaz (10-5) vs. Jakub Kowalewicz (9-4)

Korkmaz has had success on the regional scene in Germany. Unfortunately, the featherweight fighting out of Germany has been alternating wins and losses for the better part of five years. However, now he has the chance to redeem himself with a big win over Kowalewicz. Conversely, Kowalewicz has shown his arsenal with his second professional fight at KSW 25, where he won by TKO. Now, looking to rebound from a loss in Brave FC, Kowalewicz’s will be fighting against inactivity too.

ACA 114 Featured Prelim – Daniel James (9-5-1) vs. Michal Martínek (8-1)

A heavyweight tilt will lead us into the main card, when James looks to erase a two fight losing skid against the highly touted prospect, Martínek. At only thirty years of age, Martínek is an imposing threat with well developed skill sets. Martínek’s one and only loss was to a fellow undefeated fighter on the Dana White Contender Series. Once he shores up his problems on the ground he will be even more difficult to stop. In his win at LFA 67, James showed impressive top pressure when he defeated his opponent by ground and pound. Implementing a similar strategy in this fight could make for an exciting start to the main card that follows.

ACA 114 takes place November 26 at 10AM ET.
