Da Un Jung has been in the UFC for a little over a year and he has had two stoppage wins added to his record since. Coming into the UFC, Jung has an impressive record but some of his opponents weren’t the most experienced or highly skilled.
Jung’s last time in the octagon was in December of 2019 when he was able to finish Mike Rodriguez in the very first round. Jung landed a flush right hand that was able to drop and end the night for his opponent. In his UFC debut in August of 2019, he was able to secure a guillotine choke on then undefeated Khadis Ibragimov.
This UFC debut found Jung in some real trouble, but he was able to stay composed and continue working his strengths until an opportunity revealed itself late in the fight. Da Un Jung is 6’4″ and has a 78.5″ reach, he loves to use that reach for his extra-long punches that he utilizes so often in his fights. Jung’s jab is a huge part of his game, he has some great combinations and when his opponents try to take him down to avoid his striking he is competent on the ground.
