Rodrigo Nascimento is a DWCS 2019 product that has some very impressive submission grappling skills. Nascimento faced then-undefeated, 7-0, Michal Martinek, on the Contender Series last year and was able to sink in an arm-triangle choke in the very first round to secure himself a UFC contract.
Then, in his UFC debut back in May, Rodrigo was able to submit Don’Tale Mayes by rear-naked choke in the second round. This was just the second, second-round submission in Nascimento’s professional MMA career as he has finished his other 6 opponents in the very first round. Nascimento will look to keep his 100% win finish rate and undefeated record intact at UFC Fight Island 5.
