Cody “Spartan” Stamann (19-2-1 MMA, 5-1-1 UFC)

Bantamweight (135lbs): 3-1-1 (UFC)

Featherweight (145lbs): 2-0 (UFC)

Cody Stamann is back in action after his unanimous decision victory over Brian Kelleher last month. Stamann took that fight, his second fight at 145lbs. in the UFC, inside of two weeks’ notice and liked the way he felt at the weight. Stamann is a weight cutting chronicles regular.

This is due in part to the fact that Cody fought the majority of his professional career outside of the UFC at featherweight and then decided to come down to bantamweight for most of his career under the UFC’s promotional banner. But with the comfort of not having to cut an excessive amount of weight and the success in the featherweight weight class, Stamann is looking to make it a perfect 3-0 in the UFC at 145lbs. on July 15th.
