Bantamweight action was in the spotlight at Invicta Phoenix Series 3 — and by all accounts the event delivered.

While the ranks of Invicta FC have seemed a little thin of late at 135lbs, Phoenix Series 3 was all about improving that. The event featured a three-fight bantamweight tournament, boasting one-round quarter and semi-final fights ahead of a three-round finale. That tournament was run through by Taneisha Tennant, who earned unanimous decision wins in all three of her bouts.

Atop the card, meanwhile, was a bantamweight title fight with the vacant 135lb title up for grabs. An absolute bloodbath saw TUF 28 alumni Julija Stoliarenko win a split decision over Lisa Verzosa to claim the title.

Highlights? You’d better believe we’ve got those. Check below for a glimpse of the full card courtesy of Invicta FC.
