The promotional push is done. UFC Norfolk is ready to go.

The last stop ahead of Saturday night’s Fight Night event, topped by a flyweight title fight, was the ceremonial weigh-in and face-off. Going down at the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, it was a chance to fans to look at the full card facing off.

Of course, the official weigh-in had taken place Friday morning in Virginia Beach, and it was no secret that one half of the main event had missed weight. Deiveson Figueiredo came in at 127.5lbs, a full 2.5lbs over championship weight. End result, only Joseph Benavidez, the other half of the UFC Norfolk main event, will be eligible to win the (currently vacant) title.

At the ceremonial weigh-in Friday, however, Figueiredo was still fired up, promising to finish Benavidez, because the “fans deserve it.” He hit the stage taking selfies, and did his best to intimidate Joe B. — not that the latter ever lost his cool.

Ion Cutelaba, known for some entertaining weigh-ins, also went the intimidation route, getting right in the face of Magomed Ankalaev. If he was bothered, however, Ankalaev didn’t bother to show it.

The full card plays out on ESPN+ Saturday (TSN in Canada). Check out highlights from the ceremonial weigh-in below.
