The UFC returned to Russia this weekend, with standout featherweights Zabit Magomedsharipov and Calvin Kattar topping the UFC Moscow card.

To be certain, it was not the UFC Moscow card originally advertised. Junior Dos Santos vs. Alexander Volkov had been the highly anticipated heavyweight main event. However, Dos Santos was forced off the card due to a nasty leg infection. Into his place stepped everyone’s favorite heavyweight, Greg Hardy, on very short notice. Volkov vs. Hardy, a near-freakshow level fight, was downgraded to the co-main event, possibly due to Hardy not being allowed to use his inhaler between rounds.

With Hardy not ready for a five round battle (one thing we certainly learned from UFC Boston), the very promising battle between Kattar and Zabit — coincidentally originally booked for Beantown — was given the nod to replace the heavyweights.

Given both Magomedsharipov and Kattar are known for exciting fights, that made UFC Moscow’s main event a bit of must-see TV. Hardy getting his first real test, and perhaps his comeuppance, is another reason to tune into UFC Moscow.

Before any of that transpires, however, there was weigh-ins to get past Friday. Check below for full results and the official live stream kicking off at 10AM ET.
