Undefeated flyweight prospect Davi Brandao is officially set for his ONE Championship debut. Sources tell Cageside Press that the Brazilian standout will take on Viet Anh Do at ONE Fight Night 46 on Aug. 14 in Bangkok, Thailand.
With a perfect record and a reputation as an aggressive finisher, Brandao now gets the opportunity to make an immediate statement on one of the biggest stages in MMA.
Brandao (6-0) signed with the promotion in July following successful runs in regional Brazilian promotions such as Mr. Cage, Skull Champions and Coari Champions. The 20-year-old’s well-rounded game will fit well in ONE’s flyweight division.
Do (6-1) comes off winning a contract at ONE Friday Fights 155 in May. The New Zealand-based fighter, by way of Vietnam, will look to make an immediate impact by spoiling the debut of the incoming Brandao.
ONE Fight Night 46 takes place on Aug. 14 from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The card, as of now, is as follows:
