The Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand played host to the second ONE Championship event of the weekend on Saturday (Friday night for western fight fans), with ONE Fight Night 46 topped by a Muay Thai title fight.
That main event saw two-sport queen Stella Hemetsberger look to defend her ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai world title for the first time, taking on Russian challenger Natalia Diachkova.
27-year old Hemetsberger, from Austria, also holds the promotion’s women’s strawweight kickboxing title; she earned both belts by defeating ONE Championship vet Jackie Buntan.
Diachkova, who briefly competed in MMA, has posted a 6-1 record under the ONE banner, and came into the bout on a two-fight win streak.
