Chicago, Illinois is the setting for UFC 319 taking place on August 16 from the United Center headlined by the UFC middleweight title bout, but the promotion announced additional fights on Tuesday.
UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis will defend his title against #3 Khamzat Chimaev in the main event. It’s been a bit of a wait to see Chimaev come to the states once again, but this time challenging for the middleweight belt. Du Plessis is coming off his second title defense where be beat Sean Strickland.
Other bouts announced for the card include a lightweight bout between long time UFC vet Edson Barboza and Drakkar Klose. King Green is back facing Diego Ferreira after a tough loss to Mauricio Ruffy.
Former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade faces Lupita Godinez in Chicago, Bryan Battle and Nursulton Ruziboev square up and Tim Elliot takes on Kai Asakura.
