The Professional Fighters League kicks off its semifinal round of the World Tournament on Thursday with PFL Nashville hosting welterweight and semifinal action.
In the main event, one of two welterweight semifinals sees Jason Jackson, former Bellator MMA 170lb champ, was set to face off against Thad Jean, who Jackson felt had been dismissive if not downright disrespectful in the build-up. In the co-headliner, the long awaited third fight between featherweights Jesus Pinedo and Gabriel Braga was lined up, with their career series tied 1-1.
