Originally penciled in to be part of UFC 315 in Montreal last weekend, the welterweight fight between Gilbert Burns and Michael Morales is now your UFC Vegas 106 headliner.
While fans in Montreal might feel a little short-changed, the bout now gets five rounds, making it an even tougher test for Morales, who is looking to make his star turn here. Fighting for five rounds (potentially) for the first time. Headlining a UFC main event for the first time. Taking on his biggest challenge to date in former title challenger Burns.
The board is set, Morales just has to execute, but the always game “Durinho” will no doubt have something to say about all that.
