The PFL has a World Tournament semifinal event set for June 27 in Chicago, IL, and in addition to middleweight and light heavyweight action, Sergio Pettis and Raufeon Stots are set to collide.

The bantamweight pair, former teammates, are also former champions under the Bellator MMA brand, which was fully absorbed earlier this year by the PFL.

Promotion officials announced the booking via press release on Thursday.

Pettis (23-7) is coming off back-to-back losses against Kyoji Horiguchi and Patchy Mix, and has not fought since June of 2024. The longtime Roufusport member, a former UFC contender, lost his Bellator MMA bantamweight championship to Patchy Mix in 2023.

Stots (21-2), who held interim bantamweight gold for Bellator and made it to the bantamweight grand prix semifinal, is entering the fight off two straight wins. He’s picked up victories over Danny Sabatello and Marcos Breno since losing in the grand prix final to Patchy Mix, a defeat that cost him the title as well.

The PFL’s June 27 event takes place at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois with Fabian Edwards vs. Josh Silveira headlining. The following match-ups have been announced by the promotion:
