Canada’s “Power Bar,” Marc-Andre Barriault, is wasting no time getting back to work.

Days out from his nasty finish of Bruno Silva at UFC 315 in Montreal, Barriault (17-9, 1NC) has both signed a new contract, and booked a fight with the formidable Shara Bullet (15-1), fully Sharabutdin Magomedov. The bout will take place at UFC Abu Dhabi at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE on July 26, 2025.

SportsNet, the official broadcaster of the UFC in Canada, was among the first to report the news, confirmed by the promotion.

Barriault almost certainly saved his job when he fought out his contract and knocked out Silva on Saturday, sending the Brazilian to hospital on a stretcher (thankfully, all tests came back negative, per UFC officials). The win snapped a three-fight skid for the Quebec native, who now calls Florida home.

Shara Bullet, meanwhile, will enter the fight off his first loss as a pro after coming up short opposite former Bellator star Michael “Venom” Page. Magomedov had gone 4-0 to start his UFC run prior to that setback.

UFC Abu Dhabi is headlined by Robert Whittaker, former UFC middleweight champ, and Reinier de Ridder, a former ONE Championship double-champ.

Additional bouts announced on Tuesday by the UFC include:

  • Nikita Krylov (30-10) vs. Bogdan Guskov (17-3)
  • Ramazan Temirov (19-3) vs. Asu Almabayev (21-3)
  • Ibo Aslan (14-2) vs. Billy Elekana (7-2)
