Magomed Magomedov Revenge Tour Starts With Mix

Paris – Bellator bantanweight Magomed Magomedov is about to kick off his ‘revenge tour’ and it beings against champion Patchy Mix at Bellator Paris on Friday night.

“Honestly this is perfect scenario for me because with one shot I can kill both rabbits,” Magomedov told reporters including Cageside Press on a media call through a translator on Tuesday.

“I can get my revenge and also get Bellator title the one that all the fighters (are) looking at.”

Magomedov (20-3) lost to Mix in the $1 million final last year losing via submission at Bellator 289. The Russian fighter looks to get that win back against Mix this Friday.

“If everything will go perfect in this fight I would love to have my first title defense with Raufeon. I have to defend my title, but if the title defense going to be the fight where i’ll avenge my loss, that will be ideal,” Magomed said.

“Let’s say 2024 I’m setting the goal that it will be (the) year of revenge.”

“Well I think this is the last step on the ladder that I’m (climbing). It’s a kind of (like) winning an Olympic game to get this title. I mean this is the goal of a professional fighter,” he said.

“So this night and this belt will be my triumph of my career.”
