Chris Duncan vs Manuel Torres

‘El Loco’ is a fitting nickname for Mexican striking cyclone Manuel Torres. With only one decision in his pro career, back in 2018, Torres is a veritable symphony of violence when he marches down opponents with his fluid and dynamic striking. Most notable is his last fight, a first round ‘Knockout of the Year’ contender over Nikolas Motta. His only two pro losses have come by some form of leg-lock, something Chris Duncan has not shown, himself.

There is potential for Torres to notch another violent knockout, but Chris Duncan is as tough a Scotsman as you will find. Being 2-0 in the UFC is impressive, but it was his fight on the Contender Series which really displays his penchant for action fights. In it, top Longo and Weidman MMA prospect Charlie Campbell hurt Duncan and dropped him thrice. Just when all seemed lost, when Chris was retreating and shooting desperately, he summoned his power and dropped Campbell with a right hand from the depths of his soul. Two follow up shots put Charlie out and secured ‘The Problem’ a spot in the UFC.
