“Vanilla Thunder” has made his way to ONE Championship and now we know when we’ll see Ben Tynan in action for his first bout with the promotion.

Sources tell Cageside Press that Tynan (4-0) will take on Kang Ji Won in Bangkok on Nov. 3 at ONE Fight Night 16 marking the heavyweight’s debut fight with ONE Championship.

Tynan comes off a successful run in Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) where he recorded a 100% finishing rate with stoppages over Trevor Wallace, Lance Lee and Will Johnson.

Kang (6-1) is 3-1 in ONE Championship coming off a knockout victory over Paul Elliot in March 2022. His sole loss came against Marcus Almeida in 2021. He’ll look to continue to build momentum with a victory over the debuting Tynan.

Tynan was a Canadian Junior Freestyle National Champion and took his talents to North Dakota State University where he qualified for the NCAA Division I National Championships. He’s competed in wrestling, jiu-jitsu, submission grappling and kickboxing making for a well-rounded game.

Tynan signed to ONE Championship earlier this year and looks to be a perfect fit for the promotion with powerful wrestling and evolving striking.
