After being overlooked as main event material for far too long, flyweights finally get a chance to top a UFC card on Saturday, with Kai Kara-France facing off against Amir Albazi in the main event of UFC Vegas 74.

Yes, the middleweight match-up between Jack Hermansson and Brendan Allen had to fall through to afford the 125lb’ers that opportunity. But nevertheless, Kara-France, ranked #3 in the weight class, and #7-ranked Albazi finally get their chance to shine.

For Kara-France, the fight is his first since falling to Brandon Moreno in an interim title fight last year. Albazi, meanwhile, has won his last five fights, including his first four under the UFC banner.

Set to air on ESPN (making the card UFC on ESPN 46, numerically), UFC Vegas 74 takes place at the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada this Saturday. Weigh-ins get underway at 12PM ET on Friday — full results can be found below.
