After stepping away from MMA for much more important matters — joining the war effort and defending his native Ukraine against Russian invasion — welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov returns to action on Saturday, looking to defend his title against interim champ Logan Storley.
The pair first met in 2020, with Amosov winning a split decision. He went on to defeat Douglas Lima to capture the title, only for the ravages of war to keep him out of the fight game since. Storley, meanwhile, has won three straight since his first meeting with Amosov, defeating Michael “Venom” Page for interim gold last year.
In the co-main event, meanwhile, featherweights Pedro Carvalho and Jeremy Kennedy collide.
