10 Female Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2023

Julia “The Dragon” Polastri (Strawweight)

24 | 5’2” | Rio de Janeiro, Brazil | 10-3 | 5 Finishes | 4 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission (RNC) | Combined Opponents’ Record: 66-28 | Best win – Jéssica Delboni (9-1)

Polastri was on this list a few years ago but a loss set her back. That loss came on the Contender Series against Jasmine Jasudavicius. It was a fight she was way too small in as she moved up to 125. She’s back at 115 and is back to her winning ways, winning her last two fights. Polastri is the Shooto Brazil strawweight champion.

“The Dragon” has some good hands. She is fast and has shown good power in her hands. There isn’t a ton of fight footage but she has the resume to back herself up. Coming up she will fight for the LFA strawweight title. If she wins that, that is probably a ticket to the UFC.
