10 Female Prospects the UFC Should Sign in 2023

Shauna “Mama B” Bannon (Strawweight)

29 | 5’7” | Dublin, Ireland | 4-0 | 2 finishes | 2 KO/TKOs | Combined Opponents’ Record: 8-3-1 | Best win – Nadia Vera (3-0-1)

Before turning pro, Bannan had an extensive amateur career. She went 9-3, fought a ton in IMMAF, and won the IMMA world championship. As an amateur and pro, she won the Cage Legacy Flyweight title. Just last December she won the Cage Legacy strawweight title. Bannon also fought for Invicta FC last year.

Bannon has a karate stance on the feet and her output is good. Altogether her stand-up isn’t great because she gets hit too much. Bannon does has really good grappling, however wrestling needs to be better. Off her back, she’s just as good with attacking and working in general. Definitely growing but the talent is there.
