Belaltor MMA bring two title fights with them to the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL this Friday, with Bellator 288 being unquestionably the biggest MMA event of the weekend.
In the main event, the long-awaited Light Heavyweight Grand Prix will (hopefully) finally come to a close, with Vadim Nemkov and Corey Anderson running it back. Their original meeting, in what was supposed to be the grand prix final earlier this year, ended in a No Contest due to an accidental clash of heads.
While many had Anderson winning the fight to that point, the slate was wiped clean Friday night.
In the co-main event, meanwhile, the first title defense for Paticky Pitbull was at hand. Opposite the Brazilian, Usman Nurmagomedov, undefeated cousin of former UFC champ Khabib.
The deep Bellator 288 card also featured proven names like Tyrell Fortune, Roman Faraldo, and Daniel Weichel.
