  1. Dan Hooker vs Claudio Puelles – 6/10

Hooker and Puelles are both tough as nails and interesting fighters, but they both have severe issues at the moment.

Hooker’s durability and overall mental and physical health is in question after his recent run where he lost four of his last five and was finished in three of them. Puelles has all the momentum in the world but his striking is simply not up to snuff, despite his excellent grappling. Additionally, good BJJ does not always equate to good wrestling. Hooker has generally been a good anti-wrestler and defensive grappler and if he is able to keep this on the feet it should be a clean win for him, but the question of, ‘How far past his prime is he?’ looms large.
