  1. Brad Riddell vs Renato Moicano – 10/10

Two oft underappreciated warriors at lightweight face off in the featured prelim this Saturday. Brad Riddell recently fell out of the rankings after losing back-to-back fights to Rafael Fiziev and Jalin Turner. The Fiziev fight could easily have been Brad’s fifth straight Fight of the Night award, as all of his first five UFC fights were incredibly action packed, but in that span he only won two such bonuses.

Moicano, on the other hand, made it into the top five at featherweight before running afoul of Jose Aldo, but his win streak carried action packed fights against the likes of Brian Ortega, Jeremy Stephens, and Calvin Kattar, the latter of whom Renato decisively outstruck despite being seen as a BJJ specialist. Since moving up to lightweight, Moicano has choked out three opponents and only lost to two elite fighters in Rafael Fiziev and Rafael Dos Anjos. The Dos Anjos fight may have finally made people appreciate Renato as he showed off insane toughness in taking a beating for five rounds, in a fight that took place only a week after fighting another talented opponent in Alexander Hernandez.

Both of these men are among the best fighters in arguably the best division in the world, bring it every time they fight, and truly deserve more appreciation from fans as great action fighters. The odds are almost a pick’em on betting sites, showing just how competitive and hard to call this matchup is on paper.
