If there was a breakout star on The Ultimate Fighter 30, it was arguably women’s flyweight Juliana Miller.

Between her personality, and a brief feud with Bobby Maximus, “Juju” had set herself up to be a name to watch moving forward — if should could win it all in the TUF 30 finale against Brogan Walker at UFC Vegas 59 on Saturday.

Walker, an Invicta FC veteran, would have a serious advantage over Miller in terms of experience. Miller made sure it didn’t matter.

There was no touch of the gloves to start the fight. Miller landed a series of punches forcing Walker to clinch up. Miller used a trip to get the takedown. In her world, Miller was in control on top landing short punches. Miller was doing enough on top to avoid a stand-up from the ref. Walker kept working her legs up for an armbar but had no answer off her back never getting close to getting back to her feet.

In round two it was the jab from Miller that was landing flush. Walker landed some good kicks and a short combo of punches. Walker made the mistake of clinching up with Miller and Miller got the takedown. Walker used a heel hook to scramble but Miller capitalized and took the back. Miller had the RNC in but Walker survived and turned towards Miller and the fight got back to the feet. Again, Walker clinched back up with Miller and Miller got another trip takedown. Miller ends the round in guard landing ground and pound.

In the final round both traded some hooks and jabs to start the round. A real nice jab landed from Miller snapping the head back of Walker. Walker landed a big overhand left but again clinched up with Miller. To no surprise, Miller got the trip takedown. Miller landed right into mount and was landing elbows. She didn’t let up on ground and pound until the ref stepped in and stopped the fight.

Miller added a D-X chop and shove of Walker as she dismounted her opponent, still fired up. She also claimed the title of The Ultimate Fighter, taking home the trophy and a UFC contract.

Official Result: Juliana Miller def. Brogan Walker by TKO (ground and pound), round 3, 3:57
